Kick off the new school year with ‘Insights’ tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
Four public school principals will join PBS Hawaii’s ‘Insights’ moderator Dan Boylan on Aug. 4 to discuss the latest developments in efforts to reform public schools across the state. School reform initiatives, including Hawaii’s Race to the Top and No Child Left Behind, will be among the discussion topics. Darrel Galera, of Moanalua High; Justin Mew, of Niu Valley Middle; Sheldon Oshio, of Waikele Elementary; and Ofelia Reed, of Blanche Pope Elementary, are scheduled to appear.
